RANGE LOCATION: Ben Avery Shooting Facility, 15 miles north of Phoenix, on the west side of I-17, Exit #223 (Carefree Highway). Driving Tip, the Northbound #223 exit can backup terribly. Drive one mile north to the next exit, turn around and exit Southbound at Exit #223. The situation at Carefree Hwy & I-17 has only gotten worse.
