Hi
Kevin,
Things have been a little crazy around
here.Just back from the US F Class Nationals in Lodi WI and in
process of healing.Tough travelling as these old bones don't
handle things too well anymore. Had sent you an email to let you
know that the "Tube Gun" ruled at the Ontarion Provincial
Championships this summer winning me 7 gold medals and a number
of other awards in F Open Class.
Actually got "chaired" like the TR
shooters.
Tried my hand at the US National F Class
, crashed and burned but managed a 28th place finish .Some great
performances there by some top shooters. Bisley World
Championships are less than 9 months away and I'm in process of
building 2 new rifles for it.I want to build a LA single shot
rifle and wanted to know if you are building the LA kits I saw
in SS versions.?
Happy Octoberfesting

Last week I
attended the ORA (Ontario Rifle Association)'s Provincial
Championship at Camp Borden here in Ontario. Due to poor health I
was only planning on attending Saturday's match as I knew I
couldn't handle 3 days.
On Saturday I was they 120 shooter to be registered .I shot F
class open and must admit the rifle shot extremely
well. Considering I shot off a Harris pod against full blown BR
rifles on BR rests,I think this rifle proved itself. Most people
mistook it for a Tubb rifle but I corrected them and suggested
they visit your website. At the end of the day the rifle had
managed to win the 500,tie the 600,win the grand agg for
Saturday and win Stage 1 of the Lt. Governors match shooting a
234 out of a possible 240.
It was a pleasure to shoot and turned quite a few heads. On
Sunday, I was not in very good a shape and had to shoot another
rifle as I was too exhausted to clean or reload Sat night. In the
end I managed to finish 2nd overall in the Lt. Governor's
Match. I believe that had I shot the MAK tube gun on Sunday ,I
just may have won it all.
